GZH — Corporate brand & print identity
Corporate print identity for Grafički Zavod Hrvatske — Croatia's oldest printing institution, established 1944. Stationery suite: branded notebooks in seasonal colourways, calendar, bags, and executive portfolio holder.
Context
GZH (Grafički Zavod Hrvatske) is Croatia’s oldest printing institution, established in 1944 and still one of the most recognisable names in Croatian print. The brief was a corporate stationery suite — pieces that could sit on an executive’s desk or in a conference room, feel current, and carry the weight of nearly 80 years of printing heritage.
Approach
The visual system is built around a geometric diagonal-line pattern: precise, printing-industry adjacent, and scalable across colourways. The GZH monogram — G, Z, and H interlocked — anchors every piece in institutional red against the pattern ground.
Two seasonal colourways for the notebook: primary yellow (high-visibility, bold) and secondary pink (softer, conference-ready). Same construction, same monogram, same pattern — the colour carries the seasonal variation without fragmenting the identity.
The black leather portfolio holder functions as the executive anchor piece: matte finish, card slot, pen loop, notebook pocket. Pairs with both colourways.

Deliverables
Full print suite: A5 branded bilježnice in yellow and pink colourways, wall calendar, branded vrećice (shopping bags), and executive leather portfolio holder — all produced to print-ready specification.
