Strategy, craft, and 15 years of practice.

[01] BACKGROUND

I started in classical guitar performance at the Vienna Academy. That discipline — daily practice, attention to phrasing, structural thinking — still shapes how I approach design today. After Vienna I worked through design studios in London and Zagreb, taking on clients including Kaufland, Siegwerk, Muraplast, and Denon, before founding GALLAXI in 2024.

[02] TODAY

I run GALLAXI as a focused studio practice for selected clients across Europe. My work spans the full visual stack: product UI, design systems, identity, web design and development, packaging, photography, and video. I work in English, Croatian, and German.

I split my time between Zagreb — where the main studio is located — and Vienna, where I am regularly available for in-person sessions and meetings. Vienna clients book the same way as Zagreb clients: no travel surcharge, no special arrangement. For web projects I work fully remote across the EU and DACH region.

[03] HOW I WORK

I take projects end-to-end — strategy, design, and delivery. I don't specialise by deliverable; I specialise by problem. The best work happens when the same mind carries a brief from first question to final pixel — no translation loss between disciplines.

I design and code. I deploy and maintain the sites I build — WordPress, Webflow, or hand-coded Astro — and stay on as a retainer when clients want a single author from brief to browser, not a relay race where something is lost in each handoff. I also integrate AI tools into the production workflow — not to replace craft, but to compress the repetitive parts so more of your budget goes towards the work that actually makes a difference.

[04] WHAT CLIENTS ACTUALLY GET

Most agencies hand off a file and disappear. GALLAXI is structured differently — one senior person, end-to-end, who understands the business problem before opening a design tool.

For a company looking for a €3,000–20,000 partner: you get direct access to the person doing the work, clear milestones, and a deliverable that's production-ready — not a Figma file that needs three more contractors to go live.

Clients return because the work holds — sites that convert, identities that scale, photography that actually gets used. Not just something that looked good on the day of the presentation.

[05] WHERE I WORK

Primary studio is in Zagreb, Gundulićeva street — city centre, easy to reach. I am regularly in Vienna and take sessions and meetings there without a travel surcharge; Austrian and German clients should think of me as a local contact who happens to have a second base in Zagreb.

For portrait and brand photography in Vienna: I work in a partner studio or at your office. For web design projects: fully remote across the EU, with optional kickoff meeting in person. For clients in Germany and Switzerland: remote work with occasional travel on request.

Languages: English (primary working language), Croatian (native), German (fluent — B2/C1).

[05] OUTSIDE WORK

I still play classical guitar. I shoot regularly — landscape, street, and commercial. I read about systems thinking, type history, and Eastern European design heritage. These things show up in the work, even when I don't plan for them to.
