[WEB] — STUDIJA SLUČAJA
Casa Meline — Web stranica luksuzne vile, otok Krk
Nekadašnji obiteljski dom pretvoren u utočište s 5 zvjezdica. Višejezična WordPress stranica s video heroom, izravnom rezervacijom i četiri europska tržišta.
Context
Casa Meline is a former family home on the island of Krk, Croatia — converted into a luxury villa with five uniquely named apartments set on a 10,000 m² estate. Amenities include a heated pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, glass-enclosed terrace, and seasonal breakfast service. The client needed a website that matched the property’s premium positioning, worked across four European languages, and converted visitors into direct bookings.
Brief
Design and develop a multilingual WordPress website targeting European holiday guests — primarily Croatian, German, Italian, and English-speaking markets. The site needed a luxury hospitality look and feel, a video hero, an apartment showcase, booking integration, and an SEO-ready structure from day one.
Approach
Visual direction
The stone facade and green estate set the tone: warm, natural, understated luxury. The video hero establishes atmosphere before a word is read. The colour palette was pulled from the property itself — stone, green, warm white.
Multilingual architecture
Four full language versions — EN, DE, IT, HR — built in WordPress with proper hreflang implementation for search visibility across European markets. Each language version is independently SEO-optimised.
Booking integration
A direct reservation flow via rentl.io — reducing dependence on OTA platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb) and improving the margin on each booking.
Technical partnership
Design, frontend, and visual direction: GALLAXI. Backend architecture and hosting: Digimus.at. A clean handoff — one codebase, two specialisms.
Outcome
Live for the 2024 season. Four-language European reach, direct booking enabled, and luxury hospitality positioning established. The villa’s stone facade and estate photography now communicate 5-star quality before the guest reads a single price.
A hotel doesn’t need to look like every other hotel. Casa Meline needed to look like itself.
